オリジナル製品のイギリス・ロンドンへの輸出、販売開始

松田商店は、2023年8月より、奈良の吉野檜のインテリア/リラクゼーショングッズや、フローラルウォーターなどの自社製品を、イギリス ロンドンにおける日本の情報発信拠点「ジャパン・ハウス ロンドン」に輸出し、販売を開始します。

本プロジェクトは、国内で「DEAN & DELUCA」や、「GEORGE'S」などのブランドを展開し、JAPAN HOUSEのロサンゼルス・ロンドン各SHOPを企画・運営を担うWELCOME GROUP（株式会社ウエルカム）と連携しスタートしました。

地域資源を活用した工芸品というのみでなく、その製品のストーリーや作り手の想い、松田商店の「繋ぎ、紡ぐ」という企業理念に共感いただき、輸出・販売が実現しました。

【1. JAPAN HOUSE LONDONについて】

日本文化への関心が高まる欧州の拠点として、ロンドンの目抜き通り、ケンジントンストリートに誕生したジャパン・ハウス ロンドン。ギャラリーやシアター、セレクトショップ、レストラン、ライブラリーを備えた複合的な文化・商業施設として、身体を通して日本文化を身体で感じ、消費欲求が喚起される活動を展開。空間設計はインテリアデザイナーの片山正通氏が手がけています。

Matsuda Shoten's original products that utilize local resources such as Yoshino cypress from Nara will be exported and sold to "JAPAN HOUSE LONDON" in London!

Matsuda Shoten (140, Nakayama-cho, Nara-City, Nara-Prefecture, Japan) will start exporting & selling original products which are Nara's Yoshino cypress interior/relaxation goods, floral water from July, 2023 under the Japan House London, a Japanese information hub in London.

This project started in collaboration with WELCOME GROUP (Welcome Co., Ltd.), which develops brands such as "DEAN & DELUCA" and "GEORGE'S" in Japan, and is responsible for planning and managing JAPAN HOUSE's Los Angeles and London shops. .

We were able to export and sell our products not only because it is a product that utilizes local resources, but also because of the story behind the product and our corporate philosophy of passing on the local resources of Matsuda Shoten to future generations.

【1. About Japan House London】

Since opening in summer 2018, Japan House London has welcomed more than a million visitors, delivered 15 exhibitions and held over 600 events.

Japan House London is located on the corner of Kensington High Street and Derry Street, within a two-minute walk from High Street Kensington Station, as a base in Europe where interest in Japanese culture is growing. As a complex cultural and commercial facility with galleries, theaters, select shops, restaurants, and a library, it develops activities that stimulate consumption desires by experiencing Japanese culture through feel with five senses.
